Most of us take our freedom for granted; we were born with it. But for Michael Jareou, freedom was never taken lightly. Michael spent his early years in Al Nasiryah, Iraq, where he and his family lived under the regime of Saddam Hussein. For years he endured the hardships of day to day life, while dreaming of a better life in America. At the age of 17, Michael left his family behind and fled to America. Shortly after arriving, he started school at a prestigious university, graduating at the top of his class with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering. (He later went on to receive his Masters in Project Management.)

Though he managed to escape a dictatorship in Iraq, other hardships faced him head on. Michael struggled to learn English and to assimilate into American culture. Faced with such un-ease, he could have easily given up on the dreams he longed for in Iraq. However, Michael Jareou isn’t the type of man who simply gives up.

After achieving his degree, Michael moved to Chicago, where he started Digital Security Network (DSN), which in just three and a half short years, grew into one of the biggest and most successful security companies in the U.S. He then sold DSN, to Ameritech, a Fortune 100 company, and astonishingly enough at just the age of 28, Michael Jareou was now a multi-millionaire.  

Financially independent, Mr. Jareou could have retired and lived the rest of his life in comfort. But he is a man of big goals, and even bigger dreams and the best was yet to come. Mr. Jareou founded the Physicians Wellness Group (PWG), which in a short amount of time grew to be a multi-million dollar marketing and distribution company. His ingenuity started the popular “As Seen On TV” retail stores that we’ve all seen. He is known world-wide as a savvy businessman. He is a member of the Illinois Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame and has been seen on Fox News, CNN and featured in Fortune Magazine.

Through his vision and ambition to see others achieve the same success, Mr. Jareou helps people start their own business. Out of this desire to help others, we have NuVerus. By way of lectures and seminars, he teaches the same skills, life-lessons and know-how, used to achieve his own success. Mr. Jareou is helping people from the inside-out by advocating and promoting true health and wealth.
